📊 Scoring Guide

Count how many times you chose A, B and C:

Mostly B: You’re leaning on System 2 thinking, which according to Nobel prize-winning psychologist Daniel Kahneman is reflective, inclusive, adaptive and complex. Keep cultivating it!

Mostly A or C: Your thinking may be dominated by System 1 thinking – fast, intuitive, and familiar. Useful sometimes, but cognitive shortcuts are risky in policy design.

Consider:

“Whose experience is missing from this decision? Who will it effect?  What might be the unintended consequences?  What’s the context now? What might change? What assumptions am I making—and what if they’re wrong?”
